Our tips on how to get to Sottomarina di Chioggia

BY CAR
Should you be arriving by car, you can easily reach us by taking the SS309 Romea, which connects Venice to Ravenna. If you are coming from the north, follow the A4 Turin-Trieste highway, exit at Padova Interporto and continue on the SS516 until Chioggia.
From the south, take the A13 Bologna-Padova highway, exit at Monselice and follow the signs for Chioggia and Sottomarina, and then for Grande Italia Camping Village, located right by the sea.
BY TRAIN
You can arrive by train at Chioggia railway station, which is connected to Verona by a direct service during the summer months. The Treno del Mare (Sea Train), which runs during the weekend, allows you to reach the sea in comfort without the need for a car.
In alternative, you can take a train to Padova or Rovigo and from there continue by bus to Chioggia and Sottomarina.
BY PLANE
When traveling by plane, the closest airports are:

  • Marco Polo Airport in Venice (VCE) – 60 km
  • Antonio Canova Airport in Treviso (TSF) – 75 km

From the airports, you can rent a car or take a bus to Venice Piazzale Roma; from there, continue by bus or vaporetto to Chioggia and Sottomarina.
